Punjabi Oven is incredible! They provided all of the meals for family this weekend, and catered the entire event on Sunday. The food was phenomenal! Thank you so much for everything! Endless options, whether it’s one plate or 150!

Punjabi Oven is a Mom and Pop restaurant located inside KV Market. The atmosphere may be a bit plain due to being in a grocery store, the food and service more than make up for it. I ordered a combo with Chili Chicken and Chicken Curry. It came with basmati rice and naan. It was spicy but delicious. The portions were generous and well presented. Customer service was excellent. The restaurant owner also owns the market with her husband. Business is good--and if they keep serving food as tasty as what I had tonight, they'll be around a long time. Topping off tonight's feast was a Mango Lassi. A Lassi is a cold drink made with yogurt, mango and sugar. The yogurt is made fresh in house and blended with mango. It was cool, sweet, and slightly tangy. It was the perfect way to end the meal. Overall, I recommend Punjabi Oven. Good food, good portions, good prices and great service.

I went for the first time yesterday for butter chicken. Super good!! I'm coming back for sure. I missed Indian food since moving to Mansfield. I'm happy there's this location.

The food was good, loved the butter chicken and Naan bread, the curry chicken was real good and he loved the spice level of very spicy. Which I like you can choose your spice levels. You get a real good portion on your dishes, 2 can eat off 1 dish if you don't eat very much. The store is getting remodeled but, where the eatery at its fine except for the seating part. The restaurant part is clean

Interesting experience here. As with most of my adventures with food, I called in my order as a to-go order. I went to pick it up and realized this is a pre-prepared Indian grab and dash location. So when I got there, my order was "ready", but it didn't save me any time as they just dipped it out when I got there just like they would any walk-in. Not a bad thing, but just be aware that calling ahead isn't necessary. It does explain why the gentleman didn't ask me how spicy I wanted it when I called in. As its pre-prepared, you cannot have them adjust the spice level. I ordered a lamb curry with garlic naan. My intent was to have the naan to be complementary to the curry with rice. However, they simpyl substituted the rice with the naan. Not their fault, I should have been clearer with my order. Just mentioning this for anyone else, be exact with what you are ordering. The food itself was tasty. It is definitely more flavorful than I was expecting from a grab-n-go in a marketplace. But I wouldn't put it in line with the higher quality fine dining Indian restaurants I've been to previously. For the price, it is solid. And since it is the only Indian in Mansfield that I know of, I'm grateful for it. I will be back, and I am sure I will be back often. Good experience the first time around. Albeit next time will be even better, as I will order properly for what I want exactly. Edit: I have been back twice since my original review. I've ordered the lamb curry and the chicken curry, as well as the vegetarian samosas twice. Honestly, the curry is inconsistent. Like today when I ordered the lamb curry, it was just a pool of oil. The oiliest and greasiest curry I've ever had. And the time before when I ordered the chicken curry, it was really bland. The rice is consistent. As is the naan. The samosas are really good. Crispy on the outside and have plenty of flavor on the inside. And the dipping sauce are delish. But the curry itself, two out of three times it was really bland. And this last time I was dipping my naan in straight grease. Hard to give a fair review when the quality is all over the map. The first time I was here I gave it four stars. The second time I would have given it two stars. And this last star was maybe a two star if I'm being generous. It's the only Indian restaurant in town. So will I be back? Once, but if it the quality is still subpar I'll have to just make my own curry at home.

They were on vacation but the staff was very friendly. The frozen samosas were delicious. Also, I believe they filmed parts of the Shawshank Redemption here, so enjoy the murals of Morgan Freeman
